Center the Navbar

For some strange reason, I can't seem to center the navbar. I tried putting the navbar between two center tags but it's not working. My other option was adding another item on the right side of the navbar (currently labeled "Lorem Ipsum") but I can't think of anything. Therefore the only option left is to center the navbar...help please!
