This is probably a dumb question, but will this tool work on a iPhone 6? The iPhone 5s and 6 aren’t really different from eachother right?

nope
the reason 5s is possible is becuz it ran ios 7.x.
ios 7.x cant directly go to ios higher than 11.
so they opened ios 10
for the 6 it ran ios 8 so nope
