Failing on iPod 5G (9.3.5)

Describe the issue
Attempting to downgrade my iPod fails.
Without the Catalina patch, it gets stuck at "Saving SHSH failed.",
With the Catalina patch, it gets stuck at "ERROR: No Apple device in DFU Mode 0x1227 detected after 30.00 second timeout. Exiting."

Tried again just now and it's not erroring out instantly. Weird.
