Index static html within a directory, for use with Tipue Search in static mode, using cheerio.js This file is run one time to generate your static index! it does not get included in any page.
- For Windows - Bash (Windows 10) or install Cygwin https://www.cygwin.com/
- NodeJS - to install, see: https://nodejs.org/
- CheerioJS - to install: npm install cheerio (or see https://github.com/cheeriojs/cheerio)
##Usage:
- Ensure that indexer.js is in the same directory as your static .html or .htm files.
- Run: node indexer.js
- Place the generated tipuesearch_content.js file inside the tipuesearch directory.
