Font Question

Hello,
I was merely wondering if there is a way for me to edit the Sitelen Pona font, as the resolution is rather high and it is a bit jarring next to Minecraft's visuals. This is probably a question for typography software but I thought I might as well ask here. I think I understand how the font is displayed in game, with it simply assigning the glyphs to regular unicode characters and those being used, but I don't know enough about the font file itself to figure out how to edit those glyphs.
