The name is too generic

Hi,
'Measure' is too generic a name. In the interests of growing the project, I recommend renaming to something that is more unique. This has a few benefits:
- Improved SEO and general Google juice (this makes it more discoverable for people to find).
- Easier for reserving accounts such as social media, video, and other related sites.
- Currently "measure" doesn't stand out when I mention it to prospective users. It needs a brand.
JeremyPanel is a solid choice that meets all these criteria.
Alternatively, Freckl. Or Junit (Jeremy Unit).
You know it makes sense.
I've heard that slack (of a podcast) is short term memory, so my not entirely throwaway suggestion is Jeremetrics
.
I think Open Source Metrics
, or OSM
has at least as much potential for SEO as Jono's Junit
suggestion.
Jeremetrics and JeremyPanel are both laudable names (Junit has been taken by a Java unit testing framework for quite some time). No concrete plans to change the name at this time, but I'll leave this issue open for feedback.
The positive side of keeping this name is that it's so generic and descriptive of the project that it's unlikely to be trademarked 😄
