[๐Ÿ› Bug]: the microphone isn't working and isn't listening to me

What went wrong?

everytime i toggle the switch or click the microphone, the microphone just stays flat and doesn't listen to me.

What did you expect to happen?

i expected the microphone logo to move up and down and for the assistant to respond to my commands but it isn't working.

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. i went and opened the app.
  2. i toggled the command but the app didn't respond, i said hey google/ok google but the app still didn't respond, and the microphone logo didn't move up and down.

I have the same issue on Windows 11

I think it is supposed to be like that? It is dynamic, right? @Melvin-Abraham is this expected/true bug?

Hi @InfinitumXI, have you provided microphone access to the assistant? You can try restarting the app temporarily in fallback mode from Settings > Application > Fallback Mode. Once restarted you should see a popup for allowing microphone access. Let us know if that fixes the issue.

It is supposed to change in height when the user starts speaking. Here, it seems like the user is not receiving the mic input.

Thank you so much! its working now

i'm facing the same issue here on windows 11 . I have given permission to the microphone and still the problem persists
