[💡 Feature Request]: Long press designated key to trigger assistant

DeveloperBlue opened this issue · 1 comments

What's the Problem?

It would be nice to be able to "long-press" a key the same way you can hold down the Home button on Android to trigger the assistant. Ideally I would bind this to the Windows key.

What's your solution or idea?

I would like to be able to set a key/key combination to trigger the assistant when they are held for a certain number of seconds. This should not interrupt their usual behavior when they are normally pressed.

Keys like Windows, Control, Home, Alt, etc. would be useful options.

Alternatives Considered

I have considered using an AutoHotkey Script to mimic this behavior, but built-in functionality would be nice.

Sadly, there is not much development going on in the app at the moment, so it might be a long time before this is implimented.
