when scrolling, this line appears:
Probable cause: The problem is that when logging in, clicking in the Email or Password field causes the page to zoom in, and it appears that this zoom cannot be undone, making the page too large for the phone.

Daniel: that's the vertical scrollbar, seems like the website is scaled wrong on these iphone devices

happens because ios forces zoom, thus rendering the scrollbar over the 'invisible digital keyboard'
