Problem decoding vault

I had my vault data but the ui page shows Problem decoding vault when I submit password and vault data.

Same problem entered and follow the instructions but it says problem decoding vault.

Same problem as mentioned by other users. "Problem Decoding Vault".

if you get "Problem Decoding Vault" message means that your password is wrong
you can crack your password using hashcat. i have recovered many wallet having this issue using hashcat

What is the difference between this message and the "Incorrect password" message?

The latest vault decryptor doesn't work for older metamask wallets...

If you're getting 'Incorrect password' for incorrect passwords, and 'Problem decoding vault' for the correct password, then try using an older version of the vault decryptor.
