Environment that the bug was discovered in:

  • Ubuntu Server 18.04 LTS
  • x86-64 branch of GMod
  • Source Dedicated Server for GMod (in 64-bit mode)

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Connect to a server using XTerm over RCON with a tool such as HLSW
  2. No output will be returned over RCON
  3. Disable XTerm
  4. Output will be returned over RCON
