We need a text editor for our OS as a part of our whole 'development environment' target. We have a few requirements since currently most popular open source editors are built on top of Node. I do not care for porting node to vali, and probably won't for a good while. Lite has a ton of plugins AND is built on top of SDL and LUA. Two libraries I intended to port in any case.
