For information this commit 1f3a6dd breaks the game Rogue 64 on CRT format.
It works without issue with the last release.

@wwark Do you have any details on the layout of this cart? Could you do a "cartconv -f" on it? Does it work in VICE?

@sorgelig You did notice this commit before you merged, correct? I didn't ignore your suggestion. Was there some other known issue?

Thanks @kaloun34. Looks like there can exist Magic Desk cartridges that have a non-power of two number of banks. VICE won't generate those. I'll have a fix up as soon as I can test it.

It is ok also on my side and other games i have tested !
