How to get tags?

Great library, but I ran into an issue. I can successfully query folders on our Alfresco installation, but I do not get the tags for the folder. I /do/ get an array in the cm:taggable property, and the keys look like:
workspace://SpacesStore/a034c884-6f59-4313-a2a4-f355d5ef67a0
How do I get the actual tag name (and other information) for these node references?
