What sample rate is the audio recorded in?

can't figure it out. And when I save the file, none of the players seems to recognize the file
@viktorrrrr What players have you tried? I have been able to successfully open recorded files on both Linux and MacOS, when I use the WAV audio format (only format I have tried). On Linux, when I look at the Properties of the recorded file, it says '48000 Hz'.
If I use your demo page https://mido22.github.io/MediaRecorder-sample/
- click audio
- start, record 3 seconds, stop
- download the .ogg file
- drop it in to Audacity (mac)
I get the message: Audacity did not recognize the type of file .... Try installing FFmpeg. For uncompressed files, also try File > Import > Raw data
If I import as raw data, I just hear sparks.
Similar results in itunes.
I tried importing it as raw data at 48000hz now, but still only hear static noise
