Make it possible to change order of tracks - for Windows Media Player

Opened this issue · 2 comments

Hello. I noticed that setting a language track to default does not help. For some reason, the media player ignores that parameter and selects the first track. The solution is to sort tracks so that the selected track that needs to be defaulted is in the first place. I don't know what causes that default parameter to be ignored. I tried different media players with the same issue. Also tried changing default track with MKVToolNix. Maybe it's caused by the latest Windows update. I am using Windows 10.

Hi, what media players did you try? Vlc should work. If it also doesn't work with MkvToolNix then it will also not work with this app, maybe the file is badly formatted.

MkvToolNix did change the default track and the file which was changed with your software showed the correct default track in MkvToolNix. Now I tried VLC and it works as it should. It plays an audio track which I chose with your software. But it does not work with Windows Media Player and newer Media Player that comes with Windows 10. these two media players automatically choose the first track in the list and ignore which is the default. I am very thankful that you made this software and It will be even better if it sorted audio tracks so that the selected audio track is in the first place.
