[Feature Requests] Restore HotKey & Open Minimized

Closed this issue · 3 comments

Hi Mike,

If possible the following two things would be useful.

  1. The ability for the software to start minimized
  2. The ability to set a restore hotkey to open the software from the tray (or is there one that can be used)?

Thank you.

You can already start AlephNote minimized by setting the Startup WindowState to 'Minimized':

An you can restore the window by assigning one to 'ShowMainWindow' (make sure to make it a system-global shortcut, otherwise it won't work while AlpehNote doesn't have the focus)

I know the settings menu has gotten a bit complex (many different toggles and options).
But I'm not sure what I could do (except remove a lot of the lesser-used options...)

Great, thanks Mike, I missed those. :)

Not a good idea in my opinion. How do you think that you can determine which options are more used and which ones less used? For me to have more options to customize a program is always better. When the developers start to remove options and thus choose to limit the way the users interact with their program I either dump their software (Firefox) or revert to the last usable version (Free Download Manager).
