A possibility to apply for OpenSSF help as Zappa is included in Top 200 python critical projects

Not sure if you are a last remaining active maintainer of Zappa. As part of the community still rely on Zappa, it is included in OpenSSF top 200 critical python projects: python_top_200.csv

As mentioned in google's finding-critical-open-source-projects maybe you can reach out to OpenSSF working group to see if there is any help in moving zappa forward, as there seems to be no momentum is either zappa/Zappa#1 or #1610

Or alternatively, community members who still rely on zappa here maybe can coordinate in any issue like this, decide on authoritative fork like https://github.com/zappa/Zappa/ , sketch a new roadmap, and reach out to OpenSSF.
