Groupees is a unique online and mobile platform for distribution of digital media, including games, comics, ebooks and music, with real-time social features so users can share their passions with like-minded people from around the World.

In short, it's a place where you can buy games bundles real cheap, and sometimes they get to Steam and you get a key. I have a ton of games there, probably other "cheap-ass gamers" have them too.

Store content / licenses
They offer indie games as DRM-free downloads, plus if they get released on Steam down the road you get a key as well. They sometimes have keys for other platforms as well, but not as much.

Coverage
Hard to say, it's not a constant offer, bundles and offers come and go. But they've been around for years, and by their own words "they helped 800+ games to get to steam". So counting those that didn't get to Steam, probably 1000 games or more.
On cheap gamer reddit pages it was a frequent posted thing, so I guess a lot of people have their old archives there.

Their web hasn't changed in ages, so I'm guessing a scraping script that gets thumbnails and names of listed games from the bundles/games tabs would be enough.

Main issue would probably be to pass the authentication..
