honestly i would like to see that they throw overboard there new Beta client and do a full integration as an addon that they can update it when they need.
I would like to see these because:

  1. when you install curseforge you have to install overwolf too!
  2. i dont want to need a additional client again, it was okay for me to use twitch because amazon games was integratet too but so i really dont like it and will deinstall twitch too now.

I also opened a curseforge idea on there side for these, i would find it nice, when gog would also have interest in it, that they write something about it here or maybe contact the developers directly so that it has more power and maybe both sides could benefit from it, gog for wider acceptance and curseforge because modders love it

What's the point in doing so?

All games benefit from modifications. And GOG Galaxy indeed might benefit from modification manager.

But there are more sources of game modifications. Not just CurseForge.
NexusMods. TSR. LL. And so much more.

We don't need CurseForge integration - we need good mod manager for all sources.

And only then there will the point in considering implementing such unified mod managing tool integration for GOG Galaxy.
