After the benchmark what can i do to use rx/arq?
Noeleth opened this issue · 7 comments
hi, i geet the monero ocean xmrig, i donwloaded it and did the benchmark, having this json
on the algo perf i saw that rx/arq obtain "rx/arq":.864478114478, ok but at the finish of the benchmark the xmrig selected astrobwt and i stop it nd run again, but select astrobwt continuously. if i want to change to rx/arq algo, how can i do for it?
if someone can help me to do the new json file to run, ill apreciate. thanks for all your help

That almost certainly means that mining DERO (it uses astrobwt) right now yields more XMR after exchange. Higher number in miner does not mean more profit.
So if understand, my xmrig select astrobwt and its mining DERO, in the pool or exchange the COIN changes to XMR and the pool giveme the profit. ?
If it rigth, my xmrig in astrobwt is working at 295H only, that isnt high hashrate, but if i have 15000H the profit goes up quickly than 295H.
so is it posible change manually the algo? Or xmrig select this automatically?
Thanks
295 h/s on astrobwt is more value than 15000 h/s on arq.
Moneroocean automatically chooses algo that makes more profit.
You can force xmrig to use a specific algo but it will give you less profit
Ok, so, the xmrig choose the especific algo, when he wnats. I can put it to mine and in 5 ours, he takes another algo like he wants.
If you refer to the COINS link from the dashboard on MoneroOcean site, it provides the current multiplier in the Profit column for each coin.
Once you take your algo-perf
result and multiply it by the Profit multiplier for each coin that uses each algo, astrobwt wins. The Profit column changes as the pricing for each coin changes (per the TradeOgre exchange, which is what MO uses to swap to XMR).
It does not matter what the raw hashrate in algo-perf
list is, compared to unrelated algos. One hash of astrobwt is worth more than one hash of rx/arq. Hash unit is not equal value across algorithms.
I made a spreadsheet to show you exactly how the profit seeking works. You should be served cn-heavy jobs now, since it's at the top of the profit-adjusted sorting. Note there are two coins with the same cn-heavy algo but XHV is worth crap now, so BLOC wins. And the coin that uses astrobwt is currently not tradeable or the daemon is broken, so you won't be mining that right now (but if it weren't broken, probably it would still be winning).
DERO is down, isn't it?
Yes. Lots of issues with the DERO-HE network stability since the changeover. And getting the daemon to work in the backend (maybe no proxy/stratum support thanks to the wacky WebSockets method they decided to use for no reason when normal JSON-RPC worked fine...)
Mining client support is ready in the current MO-xmrig release, but not in meta-miner yet.
