What will happen in your session?
Authentication and access control is tough in an environment where you cannot hide anything.
As part of its open-source dweb-objects library, we have developed a library to build authentication of objects. It builds on the API’s in our dweb-transports library to work transparently on top of decentralized databases (such as YJS & GUN) and document stores (such as IPFS and WebTorrent). We'll take a look at this toolkit and how it can be used in decentralized systems.
What is the goal or outcome of your session?
To assist participants who face the problem of combining totally visible decentralized peers, with privacy.
If your session requires additional materials or electronic equipment, please outline your needs.
Just standard projector/monitor.
Time needed
less than 60 mins
@mitra42 thanks for the submission! If you want (but you don't have to), feel free you see if you want to work our zone theme into your session https://github.com/KadeMorton/Xenshana
Thank you for taking the time to submit a session to MozFest.
Due to the high level of submissions, we’re unable to accept all proposals and unfortunately, your session was not part of the final group.
You'll receive a follow up email from us in the next few days.
