Welcome to OL6, Cohort D! This issue will be used to track your project and progress during the program. Please use this checklist over the next few weeks as you start Open Leadership Training 🎉.

Before Week 1 (Sept 12): Your first mentorship call

  • Complete the OLF self-assessment (online, printable). If you're a group, each teammate should complete this assessment individually. This is here to help you set your own personal goals during the program. No need to share your results, but be ready to share your thoughts with your mentor.
  • Make sure you know when and how you'll be meeting with your mentor.

Before Week 2 (Sept 19): First Cohort Call (Open by Design)

Before Week 3 (Sept 26): Mentorship call

  • Look up two other projects and comment on their issues with feedback on their vision statement.
  • Complete your Open Canvas (instructions, canvas). Comment on this issue with a link to your canvas.
  • Start your Roadmap. Comment on this issue with your draft Roadmap.

Before Week 4 (Oct 3): Cohort Call (Build for Understanding)

  • Look up two other projects and comment on their issues with feedback on their open canvas.
  • Pick an open license for the work you're doing during the program.
  • Use your canvas to start writing a README, or landing page, for your project. Link to your README in a comment on this issue.

This issue is here to help you keep track of work during the first month of the program. Please refer to the OL6 Syllabus for more detailed weekly notes and assignments past week 4.

I’m working with artists, developers and curators to show amazing AR artwork so that the public can get engaged in collaborating.

@Heloisecs I'm far from where I want to get. How do you think we can improve it?

I'm working with developers, artists and curators to build an open Augmented Reality and New Media art tool so that public, artists and curators can create, make and experiment with new media art and new technologies more easily, in an accessible manner.

Hi. It was great to meet you last week in the Cohort D gathering. This sounds like a great project - not sure how this art tool will work but certainly interested in seeing how it develops over this time. Also very happy to see it will be designated as OPEN - hopefully with Creative Commons licensing attached. I've just completed the CC Certification course so can certainly provide some information in that area if you need it.

Hi @Heloisecs @vjpixel sounds like a very cool project. Interested in knowing more about how you plan to make this tool. Are you planning to put out a website for your project?

Hi @madhurish, we have a website, but right now it's just in Portuguese. We plan to translate it until the end of the year. =)

Hi @hj-dewaard,

It's actually a second version of a tool created in 2011. We

The following video is in Portuguese, but it's possible to get the AR effect from the images: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h4H2KFBXykQ

The tool is FOSS from the beginning, and all content that invited artists produce (and that we accept from other artists) is in CC. =)

Wow! That sounds really cool! I wanna hear more about your project! Can you post you Canva?

And regarding the translation, if you need any help 😃

I wasn't able to open the document, but I have sent you a request!

So, you can either mark me on the Github issue that you need help or send me an email mlbonatelli@gmail.com. Whichever works for you!
