Find a way to show steps in Paramater and Value Potentiometer rotation

Use blue and red LED to show steps in Paramater and Value Potentiometer rotation.

Something like this:
If Pot is turned:
LED OFF if step (1/8 turn) is even
LED PINK (BLUE + RED) if step (1/8 turn) is odd

Esle If Pot is not turned during 1 sec
Lit the LEDs as per mute/play/calibration state
