Support for yt-dlp?

I noticed this repository was a bit inactive, but I'm wondering if there's anyone who would be willing to make a version of this with support for the new version of youtube-dl (yt-dlp) announced on their repository yesterday. It has a lot more features, and I've had no success trying to get it to work with the GUI of this.
