I think there is no extra searchfield needed in this case. We can use the parent searchfield which contains ID of relatedItem[@type='host']. There are also the fields mods.relatedItem, mods.relatedItem.host and mods.relatedItem.series. I think one of them will fit this use case.

This searchfield contains the real "root" (recursivly), so it is other than the existing fields ...
