Some notable differences:
- No more
setup.py
orsetup.cfg
โ everything's inpyproject.toml
now MANIFEST.in
is no longer required- hatch is now a supported build system
- Namespaces are greatly simplified compared to what we have now
While we're at it, it might be nice to fix the Roundup Action so that it properly puts Python projects into their own virtual environments and allow Python projects to use Sphinx tools newer than version 3.2.1.
