Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The files in atmos_drivers and simpler_coupler are not being used in the build of the SHiELD model, so these files should be removed.

Delete these files
Describe alternatives you've considered
If we leave the files, people may update them here instead of the appropriate FMScoupler and atmos_drivers repos.
