Will you be able to make these available on vagrantcloud.com? It would be handy for keeping up-to-date with your latest version.

Yeah, that's definitely been something I've been meaning to explore.

However, I am also interested in how our boxes compare to some of the options that have come on the scene and now seem popular (notably, the chef/centos-6.5 box). I don't know if you've explored some of these other options, but if you have, is there anything specific to our boxes that the Chef base box doesn't offer? Or more generally, any other reasons you'd prefer to use our boxes over alternatives? I think one notable difference is that Chef's basebox doesn't actually come with Chef or Puppet pre-installed, but with the advent of plugins like vagrant-omnibus, I'm not sure how relevant this is (although, I'm not sure if an equivalent plugin exists for puppet, so that could be an issue).

In any case, if you have any feedback on why you use our boxes vs other boxes available on Vagrant Cloud, that would definitely be great to know. But I will try to get our boxes up on Vagrant Cloud soon. Thanks for the recommendation!

Sorry for the long delay in responding. What drew me to your boxes is that they are clean, basic installs with up-to-date versions of CentOS, puppet and virtualbox additions. When I was searching for you boxes on vagrant cloud I found many alternatives, but none had as clear of descriptions of what the image includes and none had the consistent history of updates that I know yours to have. To summarize, I really like that your images are clean and you keep them up-to-date.

Thanks for the response, and apologies for the delay. I've just released new versions of the boxes and also release them to Vagrant Cloud under nrel/CentOS-6.5-x86_64 and nrel/CentOS-6.5-i386.

The current version of the boxes on Vagrant Cloud is v1.2.0. I've also released all the CentOS 6.5 as previous versions on Vagrant Cloud. I haven't bothered released the old CentOS 6.4 or 6.3 boxes on Vagrant Cloud, but if you did want those available via Vagrant Cloud for any reason, just let me know.
