Perhaps we need beside carTransportRail truckTransportRail.
And we should perhaps also distinguish, whether it is in the car/truck that you travel or if there is a normal carriage where you are during the trip.
With ferry. I guess it is for car and truck. Then a ship that only transports walkers, biciycles etc is never a ferry even when it moves between two ports.
We need some more information in the SubModes.
