Duplicate app shortcuts, maybe caused by Samsung's Secure Folder

Opened this issue · 0 comments

Describe the bug

Some app shortcuts are duplicated when I search for them. "Google Play Store: My apps" for example appears twice. I believe (how would I know?) it is related to Samsung's Secure folder [1]. It's best demonstrated using a short video [2].

The problem is that there's no differentiation between the two. Whatever I tap, it opens the same app. If I tag one of them, after a restart, the other one will be tagged, too.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior are probably:

  1. Get a Samsung device
  2. Install Secure Folder if it's not already there
  3. Install some other app within the secure folder (one that exists outside, too)
  4. Search for a shortcut in KISS

Expected behavior
It should either differentiate between the two (in terms of tagging, for example) or just display one.
