Text node initial hiding does not work

Reproducibility

  1. Clone the repository
  2. Switch to the text-node branch
  3. Run a local web server and head to http://localhost:8000/test.html?page=text_init_hide

The blue text nodes should be hidden but not.

The issue should be fixed now.
