Setting up Priam without SimpleDB access

Is it possible to set up Priam without SimpleDB access?
AWS has made SimpleDB unavailable.
The Setup page implies Priam's PriamProperties and InstanceIdentity domains must be created in SimpleDB.
Are there alternate instructions to use, for example, DynamoDB instead?

Where did you read that SimpleDb is no more available? can you link to a statement from AWS, I could nit readily find it.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said that it's been discontinued, I just I couldn't access it from the console, and there is no aws-cli for it, so I couldn't see how to set up the domains required.

SimpleDB does work when using an SDK.
