Publish build artifacts to a public Maven repo

It would be very helpful if the build artifacts could be pushed to Maven Central or your favorite other public Maven repo.
Yep, I agree. I'll look into the configuration for getting this done automatically for release and snapshot builds (ideally through Travis).
I want to publish a 0.2 version to maven central that contains the metrics currently on features/metrics after some testing on our setup to make sure they expose what they were supposed to tell us. I'm hoping to get this done sooner rather than later.
Took a while to get around to taking all the steps needed to deploy this, but I've just promoted a repo to central, waiting for it to show up on search.
0.2 contains the current development branch, feature branches will be merged once I get them tested on our cluster.
