Granularity on Date fields not working in Contact custom fields

For date fields in the Contact custom fields setting the Granularity (eg to Show date as Year Month or Year) reverts the date field to Null. This is not the behaviour on the Contacts object for date fields, as granularity settings on date fields seem to work fine.

The issue is the same on Event Registrations object for fields like Registration Date and Event Start Date and Event End Date.

Also an issue on Sent Emails for the Sent date field
