Make email addresses not case sensitive during and account recovery

Technically email addresses are case-sensitive, in practice they are not. We have seen example of this causing confusion. We should change the system to treat then as caseless.

Places to consider when comparing emails are:

  • Registration
  • Log-in
  • Account recovery
  • Changing of email address
