Not working on Quest 2 with AI from G2A

I've downloaded MotherVR and put the .dll file in the right spot.
My copy of AI came from G2A, but can't see how that can really make a difference.
Starting AI in either Occulus or Steam results in it starting to load but crashes prior to the game actually launching.
Any ideas?

What operating system on the PC? I saw that Windows 11 gave similar failure to load.

Do a fresh install of the game, don’t run it before you drop in the mod file. Then in AI.exe properties, go to the compatibility tab and make sure you uncheck ‘disable full screen optimizations’. Also disable theater and whatever else is usually checked under the Steam game properties
