Active paging dot flickers off/on on Glider.refresh(true)

Although the view remains in place, on Glider.refresh(true) the first paging dot becomes active momentarily, before correcting itself.

So if I'm on the first page, it remains solidly active, but if I'm on any other page there will be a noticeable flicker lasting about 100ms.
