Hi, what makes our beloved Parabolic Download Manager so special, powerful, and magnificent is its wide variety of options and features out of the box, making life easier for beginners and non-expert users who lack the skills to use yt-dlp command line and configure the many preferences and options. Thanks! 💯

So, we hope please Parabolic Team will continue on this path by adding new options and features to enrich yt-dlp by adding possibility to add manually custom yt-dlp forks and add graphical options to easily install third-party yt-dlp's plugins, because yt-dlp has a generic downloader that can download from sites that aren't officially supported if we add a few modifications to the official yt-dlp download engine code, such as:

yt-dlp fork to download from famous anime websites, or yt-dlp unified with mp4decrypt:

Hi! Glad to see your love for Parabolic!

I have to look into it but maybe we can add support for custom forks of yt-dlp.

As far as plugins, https://github.com/seproDev/yt-dlp-ChromeCookieUnlock is already a part of Parabolic. The problem is Chrome cookies still do not work due to a yt-dlp bug.

The addition of https://github.com/coletdjnz/yt-dlp-get-pot is planned. See #1331
