This is what I've been saying whenever I don't want to do something, so I might as well actually write them down (I already forget 2 things ugh)
automatic link highlighting, however it must be very carefully sanitized, I don't know much about this so I'm holding off, but it would be handy.
some form of moderation, first thing is a clear chat command for admins, secondly individual messages
site links /prototypal
maybe links match user color, (these suggestions are from beta and mark btw)
both moderation types are in
Optional light theme, admins can set default
Consider optionally showing user names, I don't really want this but I feel like it will be the most wanted feature from users
Admins can set a message to show on first visit to room
mod passwords - users have individual message deletion control
interpersonal communication, some kind of click on chevron gives you some options to block or open a private room
