Software renderer compatibility for the new effects?

This is just a self-note. I'm unsure if I will pull through with these; time will tell if I feel it's worth investing time work into these or not.

  • Swap out sprite roll on bullet casings with actually-animated sprite frames
  • Software-friendly bullet tracers (probably a trail constructed out of particles?)
  • Sprite-based floor and ceiling bullet holes/scorches

(side note: at the time of this posting, this issue does not make sense because these features currently only exist in a local branch that hasn't been pushed online yet. this is intentional)
