Disk IO speed regression after upgrading from 24.05 to either 24.11 or unstable

Describe the bug
I've tried switching to unstable ~month ago and notices an extreme disk IO speed slowdown. I reverted back to stable. Today I switched to 24.11 beta and the bug seems to still be there.
Disk IO seems to be extremely slow after upgrading to either 24.11 or unstable. I'm using
boot.kernelPackages = pkgs.linuxPackages_latest;
Steps To Reproduce
Change nothing in configuration except for nixpkgs
version and stateVersion
.
Expected behavior
Subsequent nixos-rebuild
, nix-collect-garbage
and even writing short script files in home to take the same time. Saving a single file now takes >10s sometimes. Garbage collection didn't finish after a whole night even though it took less than few minutes before switch.
