Environment Details:
#URL:https://www.odata.org/
Browser Details:
Microsoft Edge 44.18362.449.0
Chrome Version 79.0.3945.130 (Official Build) (64-bit)
OS Details:
Microsoft windows 10 enterprise
Version: 1909 Build 18363.592
Note:
Similar issue is observed when focus is on radio buttons present in the 'OData API Explorer' section
1.Narrator/NVDA is not reading the exact label 'Minimal metadata' which is visually present on the screen
2.Narrator/NVDA is not reading the exact label 'No metadata' which is visually present on the screen
3.Narrator/NVDA is not reading the exact label 'full metadata' which is visually present on the screen
Repro Steps:
1)Start Screen Reader and hit the URL "https://www.odata.org/" to open Odata website
2)Tab till 'Tools' option and press enter
3)Tab till 'OData API Explorer' option and press enter
4)Tab till the 'Edit' text box field and check whether Narrator/NVDA is reading the exact label 'Metadata URL' to the user or not
Actual Result:
Screen reader(Narrator/NVDA) is reading incorrect label as 'metadataUrlBox_label' instead of reading as 'Metadata URL'
Expected Result:
Narrator/NVDA should read the exact label which is visually present on the screen. Narrator should read 'Metadata URL' when the focus lands on the corresponding field
User Impact:
Screen reader users will not get the exact label information if Narrator/NVDA does not read the exact label present visually present on the screen
