vertical and horizontal dashed lines in plot window

when a user has several plots on a window, it would be useful to be able to add a horizontal ( to read the Y axis value) and vertical ( to read for example date) dashed lines in all the curves at the same time.
there should be a tick box that enables and disables the line for all plots.
