Long time to clone repo

It seems to take a long time > 5 mins to clone the repo to my local computer

Is this something to do with a large file somewhere?
1, Maybe a large Jupiter notebook?
2. The large number of commits > 10K?

I think it's 2. as I used the option --depth when cloning and that worked

I wonder if switching the update to once a day would help

The update is set to half-hourly so that the power output map in the docs is live for each settlement period. Agree that the time to clone is far too slow though.

I'll look into how I can squash the commits together and then automate that squashing
