odd looking popup blocks screen on mobile

See https://owasp.slack.com/archives/C04T40NND/p1636312589226700 : there is a popup on mobile that blocks the view, which cannot be easily removed. Notice that this popup renders wrongly at other pages (e.g. search results) where it is overlapped partially by the results when scrolling.

Can we please remove the popup as it gives the idea that you can no longer use the website if you don't have an account?
