Bootstrap support for Django projects

Install using pip:
pip install django-bootstrap3
Alternatively, you can install download or clone this repo and call
pip install -e .
.Add to INSTALLED_APPS in your
settings.py
:'bootstrap3',
In your templates, load the
bootstrap3
library and use thebootstrap_*
tags:{% load bootstrap3 %} {# Load CSS and JavaScript #} {% bootstrap_css %} {% bootstrap_javascript %} {# Display django.contrib.messages as Bootstrap alerts #} {% bootstrap_messages %} {# Display a form #} <form action="/url/to/submit/" method="post" class="form"> {% csrf_token %} {% bootstrap_form form %} {% buttons %} <button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary"> {% bootstrap_icon "star" %} Submit </button> {% endbuttons %} </form>
Define your forms in Django, use django-bootstrap3
to render them in Bootstrap. That's the dream.
- Python 2.6, 2.7 and 3.3
- Django >= 1.4
