Add-ins for Outlook on the Web appear in two places

Provide required information needed to triage your issue

Your Environment

  • Platform [PC desktop, Mac, iOS, Office on the web]: Office on the Web
  • Host [Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.]: Outlook
  • Operating System: Windows, MacOS
  • Browser (if using Office on the web): Edge, Chrome, Safari, etc...

Expected behavior

When opening a web add-in on an event, the add-in only appears once.

Current behavior

When opening a web add-in on an event, the same add-in only appears in two different locations.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log into Outlook on the Web
  2. Go to the Calendar
  3. Double-click to open an Event
  4. Open an Add-in
  5. RESULT: the add-in appears in two different locations

experiencing the same behavior in calendar in all browsers, not in the desktop app. multiple panes open instead of just one making the add-in unusable
