Duplicated images on import

On TiddlyWiki version 5.2.3 with Bob version 1.7.3b1

Having "Enable File Server" and "Save media on server" when importing an image (via drag&drop) two files are created: one at ".\files" as it should and another one at "tiddlers" folder next to ".meta" file with 0 bytes.
This is not a big problem but is annoying to have to remember to delete them...

Update: removing the zero byte files makes the meta files not loading and the images unavailable in wiki. This is very unfortunate as I was forced to duplicate all files (after deleting the zero byte ones...).
Should not the .meta files load independently of the existence of the target file? And resolve the load after when needed?
