This probably may be too much of an ask, but is it possible for this to run on the android platform, I mean, android is a part of linux

We have no plans to support the client or server software on Android. You are welcome to try to run the client through compatibility/emulation layers or compile the server through something like Termux, but it is outside of our scope.
